On September 17th, the SJC ruled on two cases which are predicted to have a profound impact on the criminal justice system. In Commonwealth v. Long and Commonwealth v. Evelyn, the SJC blazed a new trail regarding suppression of evidence based on racial profiling and the pervasive impact of implicit bias.
