TeamSTEPPS^(R)Master Training Course

TeamSTEPPS is an evidence-based set of teamwork tools, aimed at optimizing patient outcomes by improving communication and teamwork skills among health care professionals. It includes a comprehensive set of ready-to-use materials and a training curriculum to successfully integrate teamwork principles into any health care system. Over the 2-day Train-the-Trainer workshop, participants will learn strategies to improve team-related knowledge and skills, as well as earn 1.3 CEU's.

At the core of the national implementation are 5 regional training centers at (from East to West):

North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System in New Hyde Park, New York
Duke Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina
Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana
University of Minnesota Fairview Medical Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota
University of Washington Medicine, Seattle, Washington

Coaching Workshop

The National Implementation of TeamSTEPPS registration page is the location to register for the free trainings at the five regional training centers. Funding for the training centers is provided by the Agency for Healthcare Research & Quality (AHRQ) of the Department of Health and Human Services. The National Implementation is coordinated by the Health Research & Educational Trust (HRET) of the American Hospital Association. Available Trainings
Please select the training for which you wish to register. If possible, we highly encourage you to attend with a team of 2 to 4 - however each individual must register separately for a particular training. If the training is full, please still register; you will be put on the waitlist and notified should a spot open. Due to the high demand for trainings, we ask that you please cancel your registration in a timely manner should you not be able to attend.
