TeamSTEPPS Master Training Course
Team Strategies and Tools to Enhance Performance and Patient Safety (TeamSTEPPS) is an evidence-based set of teamwork tools, aimed at optimizing patient outcomes by improving communication and teamwork skills among health care professionals. The Master Training Course is a 2-day in person course with a train-the-trainer approach. This approach educates participants on the TeamSTEPPS Fundamentals content, provides them with resources for training others, and ensurses that they gain the knowledge and training required to implement and coach the behaviors needed to achieve positive results. This course is taught by—and produces—Master Trainers.
In order to register for this course, please fill out the required fields below. A full team of three individuals is required, partial teams will not be able to register. Please limit your registration to one team from each member hospital or organization for each course.

At the core of the national implementation are 6 regional training centers at (from East to West):
- North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System in New Hyde Park, New York
- Duke Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina
- Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana
- University of Minnesota Fairview Medical Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota
- University of Washington Medicine, Seattle, Washington
- University of California at Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California

The National Implementation of TeamSTEPPS registration page is the location to register for the free trainings at the six regional training centers. Funding for the training centers is provided by the Agency for Healthcare Research & Quality (AHRQ) of the Department of Health and Human Services. The National Implementation is coordinated by the Health Research & Educational Trust (HRET) of the American Hospital Association.
