Welcome to Family Kitchen! 

Family Kitchen makes healthy eating fun, easy, and delicious for the whole family. 
Cook and learn alongside chefs, health coaches, and other families. 
Classes are interactive and fun for adults and children. Learn step by step how to improve the diet and health of your family for a lifetime!
 
Program Details:
  • This free 5-class program will meet every other week.
  • Families with at least one child age 7 to 17 and their parent/guardian who are in need of and interested in improving their diet and health are eligible to enroll. Other family members are welcome to join!
  • We ask registered family members to commit to attend all 5 classes and complete surveys before and after the program.
  • After each class, families will receive ingredients and recipes to make additional meals at home.
  • This is a community-based program and therefore it is not a medical visit. You do not need to be a Corewell Health patient to participant in the program.
  • This program is completely free and will not be billed to your insurance, nor do you need insurance to participate.
  • The Family Kitchen program utilizes the Corewell Health MyChart system. MyChart is used to communicate and send messages with program participants. If you do not have a MyChart account, we will be able to assist you in creating one.
  • Upon participating in all 5 classes and completing pre and post program surveys, families will receive a $50 Meijer gift card and kitchen tool.
