About the Course
This Master Training Course is a train-the-trainer approach and will focus on the office setting. The examples, discussions, and exercises are tailored to the medical office environment. It is a full version of TeamSTEPPS, including all of the fundamentals modules as well as modules to assist in implementation. The audience for TeamSTEPPS for Office-Based Care is wide. It is appropriate for:

Primary care offices
Specialty offices (cardiology, obstetrics, etc.)
Pediatrics
Patient-centered medical homes
Walk-in clinics
Large medical office buildings
Small or rural offices
Clinics in retail settings
Patients and families


Registration Process 
In order to register for this course, please fill out the required fields below. full team of three individuals is required. One person can complete the registration on behalf of the team but be sure to have all of their information on hand. 

Requirements to register for a course:
  • A full team of three individuals is required; partial teams will not be able to register nor teams larger than three. The ideal makeup of a team is suggested to be a nurse, physician, and an individual with a background in quality. 
  • Registration is limited to one team from each member hospital or organization for each course.
  • No previous participation or attendance in a Master Training Course.
Each team member will be sent a confirmation letter which includes onsite logistical information.

Pre-Work
This course is a hybrid model of a TeamSTEPPS Master Training Course which means the material typically taught on the first day is done online in advance. This will be outlined in your confirmation email but you will be required to watch 3 online learning lessons prior to attending the in-person day. This must be completed in order to receive CE credit.

We will then ask that each team complete pre-work (or "homework") prior to the training. To better prepare you for the training and to aid in helping you complete your pre-work, you will also be asked to view a 20-minute onboarding webinar. The pre-work assignment and its instructions along with the onboarding webinar will be described in your confirmation email. 


Continuing Education
Upon successful completion of the TeamSTEPPS Master Training for Office-Based Care Course, attendees will receive a Certificate of Completion. Additionally, participants will be eligible to receive 13 contact hours of Joint Accreditation (ANCC, ACPE and ACCME).
