Dr. Wilson will discuss the pathophysiology associated with hypertriglyceridemia when present in children.

Learning Objecitves:

1. Recognize the typical clinical presentation, including common symptoms and physical examination findings
2. Generate an appropriate differential diagnosis
3. Choose laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic studies, tests, and procedures helpful in confirming the diagnosis
4. Recommend appropriate consultations, diets, and activities
5. Demonstrate familiarity with choice of appropriate medications
6. Discuss potential complications and prognosis
