Learning Objecitves:

1. Describe what an essential oil is along with why patients want to use these products.
2. Distinguish the two most common types of production of essential oils.
3. Describe the current marketing of essential oils to the public and the relationship of marketing to standardization of essential oils.
4. Explain safe use of essential oils to a patient.
5. Evaluate current literature regarding use in children.
