The purpose of the ONE VOICE campaign is to remind health care professionals to be cognizant of the clinical environment that we expose children to during medical procedures.  ONE VOICE is an acronym that stands for a group of techniques used to help children and families during procedures.

Learning Objectives:
  1. Discuss the clinical background that led to the development of the ONE VOICE model.
  2. Describe the components of the ONE VOICE model.
  3. Select three alternate patient positions for medical procedures.
  4. Identify the correlation between the ONE VOICE model and patient safety.
