Dr. Byun will use a case study to illustrate the characteristics of a skeletal dysplasia that is extremely rare, but more common in certain populations.

  1. Discuss different ways to differentiate and identify common neonatal skeletal dysplasias.
  2. Learn the subtypes and characteristics of a rare short trunk dwarfism.
  3. Discuss medical management of a specific neonatal skeletal dysplasia.
  4. Discuss how culture and family background can affect expectations and prognoses.
