  • Thursday, August 29, 2013, 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Is a killer hiding right under your nose? Each year in the U.S. alone, approximately 50,000 individuals are newly diagnosed with oral cancer. Unfortunately at this time, the majority are found as last stage cancers, which accounts for the very high death rate; about half of those diagnosed will not survive more than five years. The good news is that a dentist or doctor can see or feel the precancerous tissue changes or an early cancer, finding it at the most curable states. The examination/screening will take less than 5 minutes of your time.

Mercy Clinic - Ear, Nose and Throat and Mercy Cancer Resource Center have teamed up to provide Oral Cancer Screenings. If you have any of the following risk factors, signs or symptoms, please call 417-820-3324 to sign up for your FREE screening.
