The successful launch of a pharmaceutical agent is not determined simply by an attractive clinical profile, but also requires a robust communication strategy utilizing multiple channels to reach all the relevant stakeholders (physician, nurse, patient, insurance plan) to ensure they have the information they need to make informed treatment decisions. The Healthcare Consultancy Group (HCG), has been providing fully integrated digital strategy and award-winning interactive solutions for the global healthcare community for over 15 years. We are a strategically and scientifically focused agency that understands how digital is changing the healthcare communications landscape. Sean Rooney and Greg Imber will be sharing their experience bringing scientific content to life and the career path that led them to HCG.
About the Speakers:
, Managing Director of Hyphen Digital graduated from Skidmore College, then began his career in digital healthcare communications when he joined WorldMedicalLeaders.com, an Internet start-up company that provides online content to physicians. One year later, he joined the Healthcare Consultancy Group (Hyphen’s parent company) to focus on professional healthcare communications and consulting. At HCG, Greg and his teams have spearheaded the strategy and execution of large and small initiatives for compounds in multiple therapeutic areas before and after launch. His years of experience working with a wide range of pharmaceutical, device, and diagnostic brands as the steward of their overall medical communications strategies provides Greg with a unique holistic perspective that distinguishes him from other leaders in the digital space and positions him to think strategically and not just tactically when it comes to digital.
Greg’s key areas of expertise at HCG include in-depth digital research and strategy solutions to help clients develop effective programs that reach the right audiences through optimal channels, multiplatform interactive content that can be leveraged across appropriate channels, multichannel digital content dissemination for personal and non-personal education and promotion, and analytics and metrics to measure the success of existing programs, to optimize future initiatives, and to inform digital strategy and execution. Greg’s focus is on digital innovation and the integration of digital strategy and solutions into all aspects of healthcare communications. He and the Hyphen team combine technical and healthcare expertise to provide clients with a holistic approach to digital strategy.
