  • Monday, November 5, 2012, 4:15pm - 6:00pm

Description:  This seminar will start with an overview of MATLAB and demonstrate features that are most relevant for life science research.  We will show you how to import, analyze and visualize data without being an expert programmer.  This seminar will demo a curve-fitting example with MATLAB in a manner suitable for those with little to no programming experience.  You will see how to automate your entire curve-fitting workflow.  Highlights include:

•       Importing data

•        Visualizing the data

•        Fitting a built-in or customized equation to your data

•        Creating an HTML report of all of your steps

•        Creating an application with a graphical user interface (GUI)
