Course Description
The Spectrum of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) is a CME-supported conference designed to educate cardiologists, primary care physicians and other medical professionals on the complexities of the HCM patient and their families. Our team of experts will lead discussions on evidence-based care of this highly variable disease.
Intended Audience
The intended audience includes practicing cardiologists, internists, pediatricians, nurses, echo sonographers and other healthcare professionals with an interest in HCM.
Program Objectives
Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Identify the diagnosis of HCM.
- Interpret family screening guidelines and role of genetic testing.
- Outline the risk factors of sudden death in HCM.
- Select treatment strategies including medications and septal myectomy.
Accreditation and Credit Designation
Spectrum Health Hospitals is accredited by the Michigan State Medical Society to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Spectrum Health Hospitals CME designates this live activity for a maximum of 4.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Radiology credits will be available and are being applied for.
Registration Fee
Physician Conference Fee: $100 per person which includes snack, CME credits, and lunch
Non-Physicians Conference Fee: $45 per person which includes snack, CME credits, and lunch
