Behavior Management, Modification & Encouragement (Online-Oshkosh)                       
The behavior strategies and guidance provided in this class come from The Nurturing Parenting Programs TM developed by Dr. Stephen J/ Bavolek.   Nurturing Parenting is a philosophy of parenting that supports children being raised in a caring home that nourishes their self worth; promotes their sense of personal empowerment and cooperation; makes appropriate developmental expectations of them; and teaches that compassion is a family moral and value where everyone is treated in a respectful, non-violent, dignified way.  Nurturing Parenting promotes good behaviors just as much as trying to prevent undesirable behaviors.  This class focuses on educating caregivers about the differences between Behavior Management, Behavior Modification and Behavior Encouragement and how to use techniques in each with the goal of helping children learn to manage their own behavior.
 
This class:

• is evidence-based for parents and caregivers of children 2-19;
• meets for one session online via Zoom; 
• allows for you to also register one additional adult, caregiver as a guest with your online registration (if needed);
• is open until the registration deadline or the max enrollment is reached; and  
• has a $10 class fee.  Scholarships can be available to reduce or eliminate the class fee if you live in our service area and are not able to afford the class fee.  If you will be requesting a scholarship, do NOT register online and contact Jeni Rettler at jrettler@familyservicesnew.org or 920-642-0042.
