Cigarette smoking is the leading cause of preventable death in the U.S. and cigarette smoke can harm nearly every organ and organ system in the body.

If you are thinking about quitting and need some extra help, be sure to attend this free four-week seminar.

Tobacco Treatment Specialist Kelly Barnhardt, RN, will offer proven methods on how to kick the habit. The class will provide:
  • Information packet and tool kit
  • Information about the consequences of tobacco use
  • Strategies for coping with withdrawal symptoms
  • How to identify triggers
  • Barriers to success
  • Information on pharmacotherapy
  • Scheduling of private consultation
WHEN: October 3, 10, 17 & 24
WHERE: Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital Community Benefit office, Suite 112 of the medical office building at 1 Atkinson Drive.

Snacks and light refreshments will be provided.
