Working With School Anxiety and Avoidance
Many youth are referred to services as a result of challenges in the school setting, or truancy. This workshop will explore the differences between defiant and anxious behavior related to the school setting, as well as identify school performance areas affected by trauma. Participants will learn ways to respond empathetically, develop solutions based on the youth’s identified needs, and work in collaboration with other potential members of the treatment team.
Registration Fee is $45, which includes 3 Continuing Education Hours.
