DON SBIR/STTR Partnering Summit

DESCRIPTION
Hosted by the Department of the Navy SBIR/STTR Programs, the Partnering Summit will provide a forum for select stakeholders to collaborate and enable partnering initiatives and best practices aimed to strengthen the innovation network, enhance the innovation pipeline, and accelerate the delivery of SBIR/STTR-developed technologies to the Fleet and Force. 
 
This year’s Summit is co-sponsored by the University of Massachusetts Research Institute (UMLRI) in an engagement strategy that fosters stronger relationships with regional technology corridors.  By partnering with UMLRI, the Department of the Navy infuses the Summit with a nationally recognized doctoral research university and programs that support workforce and economic development through innovation, entrepreneurship, and public-private partnerships -- all with potential to create technical solutions to Naval challenges.

Registration is free but REQUIRED for all attendees.  Walk-in registration will not be permitted.

AUDIENCE
The Partnering Summit will focus on SBIR/STTR ecosystem stakeholders including:
    • Government – warfighters; acquisition, technical, program management professionals
    • Large Business – prime contractors, system integrators
    • Small Business – past/current SBIR/STTR awardees
    • Academia – faculty, staff, research institution representatives

REGISTRATION DETAILS
    • Registration is free but REQUIRED for all attendees. Walk in registrations will not be permitted.
   • Substitutions for registered attendees who can no longer attend can only be made via email to Cindy Barner by clicking her name.  
    • Registration closes Monday, April 1, 2019 at 1700 EST and/or when capacity is reached.
After completing the online registration form, you will receive an automated registration notification.  A Final Program will be distributed to all registrants after registration closes.

The Partnering Summit will include a day and a half of general sessions, panels, and networking opportunities, which will set the stage for the Forum for SBIR/STTR Transition (FST) on April 10-11 at the Tsongas Center (within walking distance of the Partnering Summit). Also co-sponsored by UMass Lowell Research Institute, the FST will connect the developers of SBIR/STTR-funded technologies with warfighters, government acquisition and technical personnel, large primes, system integrators, and other potential partners/collaborators.  Click here to view more information about FST.
