Practicing Motivational Interviewing Skills

This training will allow participants to build on their foundational MI skills through experiential, interactive learning activities including role play, case studies and facilitated group discussion. This training is designed to enhance OARS (Open-Ended Questions, Affirmations, Reflections & Summary) skills and troubleshoot common MI “traps” that promote disengagement with clients.
Note: Though it is not mandatory, it is strongly suggested that participants receive foundational training in Motivational Interviewing prior to enrolling in this training.

Registration fee is $48, which includes 3 Continuing Education Hours.
