Professional Boundaries and Ethics

In this interactive 3-hour course, participants will discuss the professional ethics relevant for Mental Health Providers, including healthy boundaries with clients and the New York State Standards of Care for Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Licensed Social Workers, and Licensed Clinical Social Workers. Ethical dilemmas and real-life situations present within the micro, mezzo, and macro level of mental health practice will be explored. The training will bring together ethical guidelines from the National Association of Social Workers, the American Mental Health Counselors Association, and the New York State Education Department Office of Professions using an accessible, practical approach.

The registration fee for this training is $50.00 which includes 3 CE hours.
