Identifying and Confronting Microaggressions

Identifying and Confronting Microaggressions in the Workplace: This interactive workshop will distinguish the difference between equity and equality. Participants will explore the definition of microaggression, as well as discuss the role of intersectionality, as it results to the experiences of members of marginalized  communities. They will also be encouraged and supported in identifying what microaggressions can look like in a variety of contexts, as well as begin to identify how they can support efforts to minimize and extinguish microaggressions in the workplace.

The fee for this training is $37 for 2 Continuing Education Hours.
