Overview:
With Genencor’s recent acquisition of DuPont, this collaboration may represent the next big advance in Biotechnology! Unlike most biotechnology companies that focus on developing drugs, DuPont has developed its protein engineering technology to solve industrial problems that directly impact the global sustainability of products.

This talk will cover the history of how DuPont developed the first series of recombinant and protein engineered enzyme products ever to enter the industrial marketplace. These products and those currently under development hold promise to solve global challenges and offer new potential for meeting the world’s demand for food, fuel, materials, while reducing our impact on the environment.

*On-campus Interviews: Act now!  DuPont will be conducting on-campus interviews on October 15-16 in the SoMCC offices. Log-in to SciMed and search “DuPont” to apply now!
