Working with Clients with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities

This training will allow participants to gain a better understanding of what Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities are, how we identify them, and how they impact the clients that we work with. Participants will have a chance to explore diagnostic overshadowing and it’s potential impact on client outcomes, as well as develop strategies to assist clients in overcoming communication-related or other barriers to obtaining services.

Registration Fee is $48, which includes 3 Continuing Education Hours.
