Grief, Loss, and Community Trauma

This course will explore the definitions of both collective and community trauma as they relate to the macro impacts COVID-19 has had on our communities.  Participants will explore grief and loss from the perspective of indirect, direct, and tragic loss related to COVID-19 as well as identify some best practices to responding to children and families who are dealing with grief and loss.  The workshop will offer some bereavement support connections, as well as some discussion related to helping to build resiliency through and after trauma. 

The fee for this training is $43, which includes 3 continuing education hours.
