Facilitating Attachment

This workshop will help participants to understand Attachment Disorders, Reactive Attachment Disorder and how they relate to Complex Trauma. Participants will understand how early neglect to the brain impacts the child’s ability to trust caregivers, and then correspondingly why the focus of treatment needs to be on building relationships before targeting behaviors. Attention will be paid to how the current covid-19 crisis impacts children with attachment issues as well as the opportunities during this time to facilitate attachments.
