Engagement and Relationship Building

This training will support practitioners in understanding the importance of engagement and relationship-building within the therapeutic relationship. Participants will explore common barriers to engagement, including the impact of culture and the importance of cultural sensitivity and responsiveness. The training will introduce the concept of conflict navigation and provide strategies for building rapport, promoting effective communication, and navigating challenging interactions. Participants will also examine the characteristics of effective therapeutic professional relationships and their importance in supporting positive outcomes for the individuals and families they serve.

Registration fee is $48, which includes 3 Continuing Education Hours.
