Drug Discovery & Development Project Simulation
The course covers the progression of a drug discovery project from target identification through pre-clinical research, early and late clinical development, and registration with the health authorities.
During this interactive and group discussion course, participants will be assigned roles in a pharmaceutical project team tasked with the discovery and development of a new medicine. Participants will encounter and make decisions about various scientific challenges and possible research paths.
This hands-on two-day workshop will be presented by Novartis and is the same course presented in house to their own scientists.
- Attendance is required for the full two days (March 9 and 10, 2015)
- Some reading is required prior to the course
