CTLEEssentials of Trauma Informed Treatment 5.8.20

This will teach essential skills in using an integrated treatment model for all client populations (working on attachment, psycho-education, safety, affect regulation and modulation, cognitive restructuring, community integration, and therapist self-care). They will overview basic Cognitive Behavioral Therapy concepts (CBT) and prepare clinicians for learning about promising practices in treating complex trauma.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Participants will be able to describe the essential skills needed and the importance of using an integrated treatment model for all client populations
  2. Participants will be able to explain promising practices in treating complex trauma
  3. Participants will be able to explain the importance of Building Attachments, Psycho-education, Safety Planning, Affect Regulation and Modulation, Cognitive Restructuring, Community Integration, Therapist Self-Care

Registration fee is $40, which includes 3 CTLE Credit Hours.
