Comprehensive Systematic Analysis (CSA)

COMPREHENSIVE SYSTEMATIC ANALYSIS is a self-paced elearning course that outlines suggested practices for conducting CSAs, with an emphasis on ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS (RCA).

The course consists of seven “MICROLEARNING” MODULES—each approximately 10 minutes long:
  • CSAs: Basic Facts
  • Is a CSA Needed?
  • Establishing the CSA Team
  • Investigating the Event
  • Conducting the Analysis
  • Developing Corrective Actions
  • Identifying Strong Corrective Actions
You may take the modules TOGETHER or AS NEEDED in the CSA process. The course also includes JOB AIDS and RESOURCE LINKS. 

To access the course, please complete the REGISTRATION FORM below and submit. You will receive a LINK TO DOWNLOAD the course modules in your CONFIRMATION EMAIL.  

IMPORTANT : Once you have completed all course modules, you MUST email the DHA Patient Safety Training Team to confirm: We will verify your status and provide links to download your completion certificate and provide your feedback via the evaluation form. The evaluation is optional but recommended to ensure continuous improvement of the course curriculum.
