Overview
Get certified to teach Avid Media Composer!
In partnership with BEA, Avid Education is pleased to offer a special certification workshop designed specifically for academic instructors. This workshop is designed to prepare you to achieve certification as an Avid Certified Instructor (ACI). This also serves as your first step in establishing your school as an Avid Learning Partner (ALP).
Based on the MC101 and MC110 courses that lead to end-user certification, this fast-paced workshop will educate attendees in the core skills, workflows, and concepts involved in professional nonlinear editing on Avid Media Composer systems. In addition, attendees will also be exposed to the design and use of the course materials, and participate in discussions relating to teaching Avid in the classroom.
All are welcome to attend, regardless of experience with Media Composer. If you do plan to seek certification, also plan to carve out time in the weeks before to complete the necessary prerequisites. Access links and course materials for download are provided with registration.
A $1375 value. Free for educators attending BEA2017!
