Active Parenting: First Five Years™ Hybrid Sessions 1-3 with 4th Optional 
This program builds basic parenting & nurturing skills for new parents and caregivers with topics focusing on: You & Your Child, Preventing Problems, Encouraging Positive Behavior & an Optional 4th Session on Preparing for School Success.

This workshop:
  • is evidence-based for parents and caregivers of children ages 0-4;
  • meets for three to four sessions (either in-person or online via Zoom, please indicate your choice in the comments with your registration);
  • includes an optional 4th session class for those wanting information on how to prepare their child/ren for school success (this could be 3K, 4K, 5K or 1st Grade); 
  • provides a Parent's Guide with registration (in-person attendees will receive it at the first class, online attendees must choose between picking up a printed guide before the first class or receiving access to a digital guide online for 60-days, please note the digital guide cannot be printed due to copyright restrictions, please indicate your choice in the comments with your registration, if wanting more than one guide, additional guides may be available for purchase); 
  • when attended in-person and allowable by safety protocols, we can provide onsite childcare that must be pre-registered for (in-person attendees can request onsite childcare by entering their childrens names and ages during registration, onsite childcare is not available for online attendees but childrens names and ages can be entered if you wish to provide as information);
  • all planned classes (adult and childcare) are open until their registration deadlines or until their max enrollment is reached!  You will be notified if your pre-registeration for in-person attendance or pre-registration of children for the on-site childcare cannot be met; and  
  • has a $15 class fee.  Scholarships can be available to reduce or eliminate the class fee if you live in our service area and are not able to afford the class fee.  If you will be requesting a scholarship, do NOT register online and contact Jeni Rettler at jrettler@familyservicesnew.org or 920-642-0042. 
Please be aware that COVID-19 safety protocols must be followed during any of our in-person workshops.  You and anyone attending in-person must follow the specific location and host protocols which could change based upon Health and Safety Guidelines needed at the time of the workshop.  Protocols could include: pre-screening for symptoms and exposure; use of hand washing or hand sanitizer upon building entry; masking of ages 5 and up if pre-screening requires it; and adults physical distancing from other family groups.  If public gathering restrictions are put back into place during the run of this class, it could be canceled or we would only be able to provide an online adult/parent class.
