APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor Program (CCIP)

Kessler is Hosting a 2-Day training event taught by Dennise Krencicki, PT, DPT MA.

The program addresses issues of:
· Planning and preparing for PT students during their clinical education experiences
· Developing learning experiences
· Supporting ongoing learning through questioning and effective feedback
· Developing skills of performance evaluation
· Identifying and managing students with exceptional situations
· Identifying legal implications for clinical educators, including issues presented by ADA legislation
 
Location: Kessler Conference Center, 1199 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange, NJ 07052
Date: Saturday 1/25/2020 to Sunday 1/26/2020 
Target Audience & Costs: 
PTs and PTAs (members of APTA): $90
PTs and PTAs (nonmembers of APTA): $180
Non-PT providers: $230
 Kessler staff: please register through Select University

Register by November  30, 2019 and submit copies of license, membership for APTA (as applicable) and Participant Dossier by December 1, 2019^{**See attachment and upload button}

APTA awards the following:
· 1.6 CEU/16 contact hours to the PT/PTA,
· 1.2 CEU/12 contact hours for the non-PT provider
· Certificates will be awarded to the participants who attend the conference, submit completed evaluation forms and sign daily attendance rosters to verify attendance.
Cancellations will be accepted via phone (617-866-8525) or e-mail (csilviotti@selectmedical.com), and must be received by the cancellation deadline of December 6, 2019.
Please note: In the event of course cancellation by Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, all participants will be notified within 72 hours prior to the conference.
