Program Descriptions
- Breast Cancer Monthly Group Zoom Meeting
An educational and emotionally safe group, in collaboration with Mercy, for women newly diagnosed, survivors, along with female family and friends. - Prostate Cancer Monthly Group Zoom Meeting
This group features speakers and follow up discussions on important topics such as treatment options, quality of life, incontinence, intimacy concerns, and fear of recurrence. This group is in collaboration with Mercy. - Moving Beyond Cancer: Moving Toward Wellness:
This workshop (currently conducted online via Zoom) is brought to you in collaboration with Mercy Hospital will explore the meaning of patient active survivorship and address the emotional, physical, spiritual and practical aspects of reclaiming your wellness. Participants will leave with a personalized wellness plan and experience a small chair yoga practice. This session is facilitated by Karen Banks, M.Ed., LPC and registered yoga instructor. Patients in any stage of survivorship and caregivers welcome.
